The band camp dates for the John Adams Bands this summer are as listed:
Monday, July 22, 2019 – Friday, July 26, 2019: 5:00PM – 9:00PM
Monday, July 29, 2019 – Friday, August 2, 2019: 8:00AM – 3:00PM
Monday, August 5, 2019: 8:00AM – 2:00PM
Wednesday, August 7, 2019: 8:00AM – 2:00PM
As a reminder, all students returning or attending John Adams High School in the fall and planning on participating in band are required to complete the band camp registration. If you need a copy of the registration form, please email Ms. Ishikawa at firstname.lastname@example.org, or Ms. Schreiber at email@example.com. These forms are due by May 10, 2019.
For band camp, please wear tennis shoes with good arch support (no sandals or Chuck’s) and school appropriate athletic clothes that easily allow movement. Also, please bring a 3-inch binder, sunscreen, hat and/or sunglasses, and at least a half gallon water jug.
All rehearsals at band camp will take place at John Adams High School. Students should enter through Door 16 (back side of the school, across from the tennis courts and football/track field). Instrument rental will be taken care of the first few days of band camp.
